That's plain dumb.

@ Anonymous: Thank you for your input Anonymous. To you... yes it may be dumb - but, to God & his children, it's another amazing way that has Glorified Him.

"But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."
(1 Corinthians 2:14)

Truly One of His Amazing Signs to us.
Just as my home was spared by His Hand from a devastating tornado, the rest of my neighbors' properties were pummeled as we prayed.

yes, JD.. exactly!
Wow.. what a testimony. He definitely has greater plans in mind for His children who trust in Him.

Just like he did for Joseph (Jacob's Son) in Genesis. Though, in the beginning of his life, he had many terrible & upsetting things happen to him, (ex. all his brothers wanted to kill him, they sold him to the enemy as a slave, he was put in prison, etc.)

His entire life turned around in his favor & he ended up having great authority as well as bring favor to his family with the Pharoah.

It's amazing how God works in the lives of those who humble themselves to Him.

We can definitely be at peace knowing He has everything under control.

"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose."
(Romans 8:28)

Read the Book of Mormon!

Hi JD,
no offense, but I do not have trust that the book of Mormon is valid based off of Joseph Smith.

Why?
Because, we as humans cannot be perfect as Matthew 5:48 says we need to be - in the Holy Bible.

For all have sinned & fallen short of the Glory of God (Romans 3:23) and not one of us can take on the ability of becoming perfect (atoning for our own sins) on our own no matter how much we try. We cannot make-up our sins by doing good works.

Each of us have been contaminated with the disease which is what we call sin. We are all headed for hell (outer darkness).

Revelation 21:8 says all liars will have their part in the lake of fire. Who of us have never lied? Even as a child? Time does not forgive sin.

But Jesus said that those who will repent & put their trust in Him will be saved. Please check out the good-person test: http://www.wayofthemaster.com/goodperson.shtml

& you'll see what I mean. Nothing is more important then where you'll spend eternity.

Blessings to You, Esly.

Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
(John 14:6)

The verse above is how we can have peace with our "Heavenly Father".

The Lord answered our prayers.
We are helping to rebuild the other Christian homes and their lost faith.
God Bless,

Read the Book of Mormon.

That is very kind of you! :) I'm glad & I know they are very grateful too... and Yes, God allows Good & Bad things to happen to all of us.

"..for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust." (Matthew 5:45)

Sola Scriptura:
"but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name."
(John 20:30-31)

In other words, John wrote enough, all that was necessary, for the purpose to bring about a perfect faith in Jesus. No need to read the book of Mormon or any other for that matter.

Read the Word of God. God is whom you should serve & seek, not Mormons.

Yes the word of God is in our book and we are helping those that have suffered under God's Hand here.
The Protestant Church was reduced to rubble and we are helping those rebuild their lives and faith in Jesus, for their 'laying of hands' aren't laying bricks and reciting the gospels aren't giving their people the strength they truly need.
God Bless,
JD
