"Penn Jillette" Caricature
Who is "Penn Jillette" you ask?
This guys background is that he had or has a show called, "Penn and Teller's.. ****-****" on Showtime. I have never watched his show.. (with a name like that) but I know enough about him & his views.
He is highly intelligent. Doesn't drink, smoke, is married, has a strong family life & lives a pretty decent life.The MAJOR difference between this Atheist & MANY others is that he is not AT ALL bothered when Christians witness to him about how to get saved. In fact, he says that if they truly believe that he is going to hell without Jesus, then he'd actually be OFFENDED if they didn't witness to him. That it would mean they didn't care about him and would be the ultimate insult.
His words were:
"If Christians don’t warn others about what they believe, then they are truly being hateful."
So, to the Christian, he's such a likable person.. mainly because he understands that important main concept about Evangelism!
He seems to understand Christianity more then some Christians that I know.. Amazing! So.. hoping he'll come to know truth some day. He really does seem like another nice guy.. that just needs to gets saved. Anyway, here is the 'rough-sketch' I drew of him...

"Christopher Hitchens" (Author & Atheist) - Caricature
I painted this one Digitally in 'Corel Painter' also. But it was 1st sketched out with pencil on paper.
About "Christopher Hitchens": He just died recently last year of cancer. He drank a LOT of alcohol & smoked a LOT of cigarettes when he was alive. And when he found out he had cancer he said he didn't regret any of those habits he had at all.
He's a famous author & atheist who is most known for trying to disprove God, the Bible, heaven & hell through his books... such as, "God is not great: How Religion Poisons Everything", etc.
Many believed & hoped that he'd have a change of heart & get saved on his death bed.. but even waaaay before he knew he was going to die his words were:
"I would not do such a pathetic thing while I am lucid. I could be quite sure of that, and if there are any rumors saying otherwise.... Don't believe it."
Isn't that so sad? This guy had a STRONG hatred for God too. His quotes & views toward God were unbelievable! And sadly he had a large following of college students. I'm praying that the infiltration he created in many minds will be undone.

okay.. so, I Digitally Painted this in 'Corel Painter'
About "Bill Nye": He used to have his own show on PBS for years & years.. and he finally moved on to other things. Apparently he has recently stirring up a lot of Christians by some stuff he recently said about how "Creationism" Is Not Appropriate For Children. So at the moment he is in the spotlight. If you're a Christian reading this, please pray for this man. He needs it. And if you're not, please take a closer look at the truth that Bill Nye is avoiding.
This one here was the 'rough sketch' I drew.
And since the body wasn't needed because of what this will be used for.. I got rid of the body & just painted up his face. So, this is the final version.

Some Jimmy Pereira Work
I just thought I'd share some cool work by Jimmy. These are two of my favorite pieces of his.
This is his comments about it...
"This is a painting that I did between my first and second year in grad school. It may be somewhat abstract, but it is of Jesus (as a young boy) and his mother Mary. The inspiration for this piece was thinking about what Jesus was like as a young boy (the Bible doesn't say a whole lot about Him as a child). To think that the same arms that Jesus stretched out to embrace his mother out of love were the same ones that would be stretched out to be crucified for us (out of love) is a very sobering thought. It was done in oils and took A LONG TIME to complete. Completing this one was kind of an emotional rollercoaster and a great learning experience. If you have never read the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) before, now that were in the Christmas season, now would be a great time! It will definitley deepen your realization as to what Christmas is all about and WHY and HOW Jesus was born."

Cartoon (Video)
man.. I really adore ANIMATION being the artist I am. It's ashame though, that so many cartoons have such retarded, immoral and derogratory things in them, that are just currupting the children these days. :p
I love animation... but I've struggled with enjoying them. Let alone enjoying the company of others who 'animate'. Many of their hearts are passionate toward pleasing "man or themselves" instead of "GOD". That's 1 of the reasons I steered away from that crowd. It's just a sad truth. It was hard for me to get away from it, because it's so influential. It's easy to get pulled into an environment like that because of the CAREER you can have, the CREDITS in movies you can have & the guaranteed safety of $$$ money too. Although, it may look comfy & fun.. it's a very dangerous path.
Well, back to this video below.. it's really cool. It's not traditional animation.. but computer animation. All the same, the story is great & gets straight to the point. I wish there were more people out there making toons like this.
In this story, it's a confusion that many people go through. I went through it and it took me a while to wake up from the "false belief" of how a person is supposed to enter into heaven. I praise God for Him revealing the truth. :)
God's answers & truth has always been there.. but I was just never willing to seriously look. I'm so glad I finally did! :)

One thing that they failed to mention to much in this video was that in your prayer to God for salvation, you must not forget to REPENT, TRUST & put YOUR FAITH in JESUS CHRIST in order to seriously make Him, the Lord of YOUR life. (Just thought I'd add that in there)

EXPELLED! No Intelligence Allowed
Man!!! I'm so bummed I can't see this movie yet! :( It hasn't been released in Australia... so, I may have to wait till it arrives on DVD.
But, all the feedback seems great so far! "Ben Stein", ((formerly known as the teacher from "Ferris Beauller's Day-off" famous for the quote, "Anyone? Anyone?? Beauller???)) takes on the Darwinian scientists. Go watch it, if you haven't already.

Logan, the sky angel cowboy.
This is such a sweet video. I had to post it on here.
We have had a lot of requests to replay the phone call that Pastor Mike shared during our church service on Sunday, Nov. 11th, 2007. Here you'll find the video clip that was created just for you. We've placed the video on YouTube so that you can watch it and share with family and friends. Logan is a 13 year-old boy who lives on a ranch in a very small town in Nebraska. Logan listens to Christian Radio station 89.3FM KSBJ which broadcasts from Houston, TX. Logan called the radio station distraught because he had to take down a calf . His words have wisdom beyond his years. Since airing the audio of the phone call and now the making of the video clip, it has taken on a life of its own. People are forwarding it all over the world.
